Summer School at Berlin School of Economics

The four weeks of summer school during the months of July-August’11 was an excellent program offering courses in macro economics, environmental economics, financial markets and German Language which provided insights into European Social Welfare & Labor Laws along with their culture. Europe's leading financial market and a style setting centre of cultural life. Educational benefits include libraries, professional institutes and all the resources of the Berlin School of Economics. The HWR Berlin School of Economics & Law has a sprawling cosmopolitan campus situated off Berliner Street in central Berlin. We lived and learnt along with students from around the world, took examinations to earn course credit, and experienced a totally different academic and cultural environment. Learning was made extensive with company visits like BMW in Leipzig, Volkswagen in Wolfsburg, Siemens & Enertrag etc. The program was coupled with weekend field visits to historical venues or some form of entertainment. We enjoyed the splendor & serenity of the historic city of Berlin. Whether you are into art, architecture, dance, film, music, theatre, sport, shopping or even green spaces and the great outdoors, Berlin really does have it all.

The whole journey there gave us a quick glimpse of Germany & other European countries, and we also met many friends from different parts of the world, which enriched our knowledge and international experience. We enjoyed Berlin; the city and the study.
